Brick & Mortar venue

The Brick & Mortar show is looking for a new venue home, so if you have an idea for a venue, or perhaps you are a venue that would like to host a monthly music event please contact us. December’s show was cancelled but we plan to be back in force for 2011 with a lineup of great local songwriters and musicians!

We wish you a wonderful holiday season and thanks to everyone who helped make 2010 a great year!!!

Notice from CMTV

CMTV is looking for an original song contrasting intolerance and inclusiveness.

Community Minded Television (CMTV), Spokane’s non-profit public access TV station, is looking for a song to build a video around. The project theme is hate/divisiveness vs love/tolerance–specifically in regards to the Westboro Baptist Church (God hates: fags; soldiers; America; Muslims; etc.; etc.). CMTV shot footage of their latest demonstrations in the Spokane region along with counter-demonstrations and other activies promoting inclusiveness. If you have a song that illustrates this dilemma, call CMTV producer Dominic Spadoni on his cell at 206-384-0157. If your song is chosen, CMTV will do all the recording and editing and you’ll get a free DVD copy of the finished project PLUS it will be shown regularly on their cable channel. Pretty good exposure. Pretty good deal. If interested, call Dominic today.
